Crostini with Goat Cheese and Fig Jam
Inspired from growing up with figs from my father's sweet fig tree, this lovely crostini makes an ideal snack. Try this along with a cup of strong cappuccino.
Cut baguette on the diagonal. Brush olive oil on both sides. Grill or toast the bread in the oven until hard-toasted. Top with goat cheese spread. Dollop with fig jam. Sprinkle with mint.
Note: If available add a gooseberry on top of the jam
