Crostini with Goat Cheese and Fig Jam
Inspired from growing up with figs from my father's sweet fig tree, this lovely crostini makes an ideal snack. Try this along with a cup of strong cappuccino.

Goat Cheese
Fig Jam
Mint leaves

Cut baguette on the diagonal. Brush olive oil on both sides. Grill or toast the bread in the oven until hard-toasted. Top with goat cheese spread. Dollop with fig jam. Sprinkle with mint. Note: If available add a gooseberry on top of the jam
